Wednesday 7th January - first Lifer of the year, tart's tick according to my brother!This was my first twitch or any kind of birding for that matter of the new year, only a Green Woodpecker and Kingfisher on the way to work worth recording so far this year. Found yesterday afternoon, the Iceland Gull had been seen again today at noon minutes after I arrived and I relocated it again at 13:00 after a visit to the local baker for a sliced white. Iceland Gulls are a rare winter visitor in Holland this was the 11th for Amsterdam
